Born and raised in Langley BC, I moved to the Okanagan in 2005 after a long career in HR and Labour Relations. After two years living in Penticton, I decided to make a change and follow in my mother and grandfather’s footsteps – this was the start to an amazing career in Real Estate in the South Okanagan.
The connections I have made over the years with trade partners, builders, and much of the community can be greatly accredited to my success and ultimately benefits my clients when it comes to meeting their goals in real estate. Approximately 80% of my business comes from referrals from past clients and other industry leaders – this means a great deal to me as it means I have exceeded my clients’ expectations and have given them a great experience when it came to the Buying and or Selling of their property. Many of my clients have become lifelong friends; relationships I cherish and that are extremely important to me.
For me, the Okanagan is about lifestyle. We have it all here! These days I’m enjoying the sports that keep me out of the cold and in the sun; golfing, paddle boarding, boating, biking, hiking and track days on my sport bike. My husband and I have become members of Area 27 Motorsports park in Oliver and love to spend our free time out on the track. Summer in the Okanagan is also a great time to visit our many wineries and enjoy a glass of wine on a patio overlooking the lake with friends.
FAVOURITE PLACES
In 2019, I joined some friends on a wine tour and visited some smaller boutique wineries I had never been to before, I found so many great choices for wine. If you have the chance, book yourself on a wine tour through the valley – you will find some hidden gems. As for my go to wine; From DaSilva Vineyards I love The Big Take. We have also had quite a few new restaurants and brewery’s open up in the last year and one of my favorite restaurants in the area is the Black Antler, the food is always spot on. As for restaurants with a view, I have really been enjoying Local in lower Summerland; the food is delicious, and the views are outstanding!! It’s best in the Summer when the patio is open. For winery restaurants, if you find yourself in Oliver definitely make a stop at Kismet Winery – amazing Indian food! And the wine is good too?
Being born and raised Penticton, I had the privilege of spending my childhood working with my family on our Naramata orchard. After high school, I tackled my first agricultural project; my own 18 acre orchard, right here on the Naramata bench. From that day forth my passion was ignited, and since then I’ve watched our beautiful industry remain true to its core, while also watching it evolve. In University I studied business; with a focus on marketing. Upon graduating I wanted to integrate another passion of mine, riding. So, with the help of a good friend I was able to harmonize my education with my passions and Freedom Bike Shop was born. I am a firm believer that if you follow your passions, success will be sure to follow. Now after more than a decade selling, riding and fixing bikes; I have met some amazing people with even more amazing stories of how our little shop impacted there life. Cycling will forever be a focal point in my life , however my new chapter in life will allow me take a step back from the shop and pursue my next passion; the real estate industry. Together with my amazing wife and a great friend, l am excited to see how this next phase will unfold.
FAVOURITE PLACES
Penticton really is a beautiful place, it’s “the place to stay forever” Known for its world class mountain biking, stunning beaches and award cuisine; this is a lifestyle that just can’t be beat.
Considering I know nearly every winery in town, I am always careful to choose my favourite of anything. However that said, I’ll still favour Misconduct winery, they may have an edge since I do supply them with Riesling grapes for their ice wines; but overall the blend in their “Big Take” still takes top shelf for me!
